Changing your Netgear router's password is simple. To do so, open a web browser on a computer or other device that is connected to your router's network and type. www.routerlogin.net. The web browser can be any, it can be google chrome or Mozilla firefox or even safari for MacOS users to do so. We need to input our user name and password in the login box that appears which the textbox to enter your given details for login.
The admin user name is the default. The password is the one that you have entered when you originally signed in. Case distinctions affect both the user name and password. The Dashboard or BASIC Home page appears. Then click Administration> Set Password under ADVANCED. Double-enter the new password and your existing password. Select Enable Password Recovery if you want to be able to recover your password in the future.
A factory reset and new router configuration are required if you don't activate password recovery and you forget or lose your password.

when you click Apply.
